Festus Keyamo, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Labour and
Employment, has reacted to the victory of Bola Tinubu, an All Progressives
Congress, APC, presidential aspirant at the party’s primary election.
Keyamo said President Muhammadu Buhari’s transparent leadership
is what has led to the victory of Tinubu at the APC’s primary election.
He noted that the kind of leadership former President
Olusegun Obasanjo failed to provide the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in 2007
is what Buhari had provided.
In a tweet, the minister said there was no imposition and
interference in APC primary election due to Buhari’s leadership.
According to Keyamo: “OBJ are you watching? The kind of
leadership OBJ failed to give @OfficialPDPNig in 2007 is what PMB just provided
for the world to see: complete transparent process to pick a possible
successor; no IMPOSITION; NO INTERFERENCE; who’s the democrat now?
Congratulations @officialABAT.”
Tinubu floored other APC presidential aspirants like Vice
President Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Dave Umahi and others to clinch the
party’s ticket.
