Serhiy Hayday, the head of the military administration of
the Luhansk region, has said that Russia has deployed all its army in the
region.
He told CNN that Russia is now throwing all the reserves
they have in the region.
Russian forces have suffered a “huge number of losses and
wounded, because some troops are being tactically withdrawn to regroup”, Hayday
claimed.
“The hospitals are overcrowded and the mortuaries are
overcrowded,” he said.
Hayday added that “many warehouses behind enemy lines have
been blown up” in the past few days, destroying “a huge amount” of Russia’s
ammunition and fuel.
Hayday estimated that 10,000 to 15,000 residents remain in
the city of Lysychansk.
Ukraine’s military had on Sunday announced that they were
withdrawing from the city.
Russian President, Vladimir Putin had since congratulated
his troops for successful operations in the region.
