30th May ; Biafrans All Over The World Paid Respect To Biafran Fallen Heroes And Heroines

30th May 2024

Today, on the 30th day of May 2024, the members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) all over the globe have gathered with heavy hearts full of grief, pain, sadness, and tears to mourn and remember men, women, and children who were gruesomely murdered by the Nigerian Government in all parts of the country. From the Biafran war to the Nkpor massacre, Obigbo massacre, Ngwa High School massacre, and many more uncountable places where our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, and children were slaughtered without justification.

Today, we have gathered to mourn the heroes and heroines of Biafra who stood tall and firm against adversity, sacrificing their lives for the freedom and dignity of our people. Men and women who fought with unwavering courage and determination, embodying the true spirit of selflessness and patriotism to the cause of freedom.

As we observe this holy and important day in the life of every Biafran, let us all remember the essence of the sacrifices and the blood of our heroes and heroines that flowed down our lands like a stream. We are also called to reflect on the core values for which our heroes and heroines stood: justice, unity, freedom, bravery, and patriotism.

Today is a perfect day to recommit ourselves to the duty and obligation we have sworn to uphold in this struggle for freedom. It is obvious that the struggle is getting tougher with each passing day, but we should always reassure ourselves and our spirits that no matter the circumstances, killings, abductions, torture, and every other scheme carried out against us by Nigeria and its accomplices cannot stop us from attaining the crown of freedom for which our ancestors, heroes, and heroines sacrificed and paid fully with their lives.
