Military Raid: Setting The Record Straight

July 11th, 2024

Abia State IPOB Media Warriors have deemed it fit to set the record straight regarding the military raid on a peaceful community in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State on July 2nd, 2024.

The Nigerian military and DSS invaded Nneoyi community in Isiala Ngwa South in the early hours of July 2nd, 2024 with 7 Hilux vehicles, one armored vehicle, and one Prado jeep in search of a suspected criminal called Adiele Maduabuchi.

Based on the intelligence gathered on this Mr. Adiele Maduabuchi, he joined the Autopilot criminal gang in early 2022, with their gang leader popularly known as Chimaobi from Ohafia. Though he was popularly known in the community as part of a noble family, in IPOB we don't condone any form of criminality.

According to reports obtained by our media crew, Adiele Maduabuchi and his criminal group have a camp in Imo state from where they use IPOB/ESN, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and ESN to carry out their criminal activities when they're not IPOB or ESN.

The public should take note that the person in question is no longer an IPOB member and has nothing to do with the Eastern Security Network set up by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB.

Further reports revealed that the Nigerian military, who besieged this community, were heard saying that Mr. Adiele and his ESN gang are the unknown gunmen in Imo. They further narrated to the hearing of residents who were already gripped with fear that the criminals just got a N300 million ransom from a kidnapped victim in Imo state. It is very clear that ESN doesn't indulge in any acts of criminality; rather, ESN are the ones genuinely fighting against criminality in Biafra land.

We also want to use this opportunity to send a bitter warning to the community village chairman named Chiagwaraonye Ishmael and his likes to desist from spreading false information that will jeopardize the safety of genuine Biafrans in the community.

We learned that he informed Abia State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs - Prince Uzo Nwachukwu that the military is after IPOB criminals in his community. Using his unguarded statements to endanger the lives of IPOB members in Isiala Ngwa South. He should note that IPOB will not tolerate any act of blackmail, sabotage, and false narrative against the group; otherwise, he'll leave to regret it.

Our media received reports that Chiagwaraonye Ishmael has compiled names of innocent IPOB members in the community and sent them to the military for possible elimination. Though IPOB members have been living in threat right from the beginning and are not scared of threats, if anything happens to any member of IPOB in that community, rest assured that Chiagwaraonye will live to regret it because all your information is intact with us.

IPOB is only fighting for self-determination, which is a universal right of everyone, and it is not a crime to fight for freedom. IPOB will never back down until Biafra's freedom is assured.
