Biafrans in Cross Rivers mourning their war heroes |

River State
May 30 of every year is a day that tears never seize to run
down our cheeks. The world might forget what happened to us in 1967-70, but we
Biafrans, persecuted for being who we are, will not. We therefore shall
continually honor our heroes and heroine who died that we may live.
The entirety of Cross River State is not left out in this
solemn remembrance as IPOB family in Calabar, Ugep, Ikom, Ogoja and many other parts
of the state trooped out en mass to honor the victims of 1967-70 genocidal war
against Biafra.
IPOB families in Cross River State paid their annual
respects to these heroes and heroine by participating in the global candlelight
vigil and indeed the indelible memories of this invent has formed a part of
Biafra history.
As we pray for the repose of their brave and gentle soul, we
call on the world leaders to weigh in on the matter and pressure Nigeria for a
referendum for the people of Biafra. This of course will put to a stop the
incessant killings of innocent Biafrans and the Christian community in Nigeria.
To this effect, IPOB family in Cross River State urges all
Biafrans to remain resolute and steadfast in our pursuit for freedom because
Biafra is nearer than we have ever imagined.
Yes, we roll in tears but we know that our tears shall bring
us joy at the end. We cry to the world,
we know that their ears are not blocked. We call on Chukwu Okike Abiama because
we know that He alone can grant freedom to Biafra.
May the labours of our heroes and heroine past never be in vain.
In their honour we must match shoulder to shoulder to restore our motherland,
Biafra. Let the light of freedom shine from the candles we lit up in
commemoration of the dead in Biafra war and to the prayers we offered for the
living heroes. Iseee!
Long live IPOB Cross River State!
Long live IPOB worldwide!
Long live the leadership of IPOB!
Long live Mazi Nnamdi Kanu!
Long live Mother Biafra!
Iseee!
