Inter Milan’s CEO, Giuseppe Marotta, has confirmed that
Manchester United wants to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana.
According to Marotta, the Serie A side is expecting an
official offer from United in the coming days.
With David de Gea’s future at Old Trafford still uncertain,
the Red Devils have stepped up their search for a new no1 stopper.
Although they have looked at Brentford’s David Raya and
Diogo Costa of Benfica, United is hoping to bring in Onana, who worked with
Erik ten Hag at Ajax.
“Manchester United confirmed to us that they are interested
in Andre Onana.
“We are waiting for an official proposal in the next few
days, then we will decide how to react right after,” Marotta said.
Inter would demand €50 million (£42m) for Onana.
